G. ROMANO has instituted a number of initiatives & engaged the entire workforce in thinking about ways to further advance our eco-conscious approach to manufacturing.

Lumber
The lumber used in G. ROMANO frames are sourced from responsible forests in Canada & the US.

Foam seats and Padding
Seat cushions and all foam padding are constructed using a soy based foam core which reduces dependency on fossil fuels and chemicals and lessens greenhouse emissions

Feather products
All feather inserts used by G.ROMANO have the "OKEOTEX safe" certification

Glue
All glues and adhesives involved are a Solvent-free, 100% waterborne system and conforms to changing environmental regulations.

Stains and adhesives
All glues and adhesives used are a Solvent-free, 100% waterborne system and conforms to changing environmental regulations. Stains on wood legs and bases are also water based

Steel Springs
The sinuous springs used in G. ROMANO's seating is sourced in North American & contains up to 60% recycled steel

Fabrics
G. ROMANO's fabric collection includes a growing selection of eco-friendly fabrics and include OKEOTEX & GOTS certified patterns. Look for the VERDE symbol

Packaging
G. ROMANO's packaging is 100% recyclable. Employees helped implement a comprehensive recycling program in which they participate on a daily basis.
